Katie joined the Abound Wealth team in 2025 after graduating from the University of Minnesota – Duluth. While at UMD, she ran on the cross country and track teams, and pursued a degree in Financial Planning and Management.
Katie’s passion for money management started early – she grew up listening to Dave Ramsey and recalls counting and recounting her childhood cash box. Throughout high school and college, she gained experience working alongside incredible financial advisors who demonstrated to her how empowering financial literacy is for clients. Katie finds fulfillment in the opportunity to build meaningful relationships while helping clients reach their personal goals through finances.
Outside of Abound Wealth, Katie enjoys hiking, attending concerts, cooking, spending time with family and friends, and exploring the beautiful Tennessee countryside.

- Despite growing up in Minnesota, Katie is a proud Green Bay Packers fan. Go Pack Go!
- Katie travels to a different national park every summer for a girls hiking trip. These trips have become her favorite annual tradition!
- In high school, Katie was an active member in Business Professionals of America (BPA). She won state and competed at the national competition twice in the Human Resource Management category.
