Mike joined the Abound Wealth team after graduating from the University of Georgia with a degree in Financial Planning. His interest in personal finance started back in high school during the COVID-19 pandemic, when he discovered The Money Guy Show during his senior year. That early exposure shaped his path and ultimately led him to pursue a career in financial planning.
He grew up in Monroe, Georgia, a small town just outside of Athens, Georgia. During his time at UGA, he realized how much he enjoyed the idea of helping people make smart, values-based financial decisions. Outside of the office, you can find him at the mountain bike park, at the gym, or spending time in the great outdoors with his lovely wife, Kaia.
Things You Didn’t Know About Mike
- Mike has played trombone since the 5th grade and marched in the Redcoat band at the University of Georgia.
- During Mike’s senior year of high school, he snowboarded every month of the winter in Beaver Creek, Colorado.
