Taylor joined the Abound Wealth team in July 2024 after spending the previous year living in Germany with his wife, Franee. He really enjoyed the opportunity to live where his wife was born, and he took advantage of the opportunity to learn German.
Taylor grew up just north of San Francisco, right under the beautiful Mt. Tamalpais. At U.C. Berkeley, where Taylor got his degree in Sociology, he took a personal finance class in his last semester and discovered The Money Guy Show, both of which changed his life. In taking this class with his peers, he realized that the way he thought about money was unique. Financial planning combines Taylor’s passion of finding solutions to complex situations with working with people to help them focus on what matters most to them.
Outside of the office, Taylor loves exploring his new home of Franklin with his wife on their bikes, practicing speaking German, and working on cars. Taylor loves to travel, while in Germany he and his wife were able to travel all around Europe, and even go to Kenya.
Things You Didn’t Know About Taylor
- Taylor is a huge Formula 1 fan, and his dream is to go to the Belgian Grand Prix one day.
- Taylor wishes everything he eats could be grilled, and is always working to improve his skills on the grill.
- Taylor is hoping that living near Nashville will help revitalize him to pick up his alto saxophone again that he played in High School.
- Taylor has a black belt in Shaolin Kempo and is an Eagle Scout.
