Lukas joined Abound in July 2024. He graduated from St. Olaf College in 2021 and immediately started working for a large investment bank, despite having no formal education in finance. Lukas largely used podcasts to educate himself on the industry, one of which was the Money Guy Show. Years later, he still believes in Brian and Bo’s message.
Lukas hails from the cultural bastion of St. Paul, Minnesota. Outside of work, he enjoys running, reading, and spending quality time with his wife, Alden. They attend Holy Family Catholic Church.
Things You Didn’t Know About Lukas
- He likes craft beer, especially stouts and IPAs. He prefers stouts when the weather is very cold or very hot, and IPAs when the weather is more temperate.
- He lives by a maxim from his college running coach: “Prudence and vigor.”
- He has an awful sense of direction. When he doesn’t drive with a navigation app, Lukas will often travel to different cities or states by accident.
- He is related to Judy Garland.
