Carol Worsham, CPA, CFP®
Financial Associate
Carol serves as a Financial Associate at Abound Wealth. She is a native Texan who moved to Tennessee in 1992. Carol is a CPA with an accounting and finance degree who returned to the professional world after a long break as a stay-at-home mom. She obtained her CFP® certification in 2020. Carol uses her organizational skills and attention to detail serve our team as manager of the client portfolio reporting team, as well as providing support to all Abound advisors.
Carol and her husband Russ recently moved to Knoxville, Tennessee after his retirement, so she now works remotely for Abound. They live near three of their seven grandchildren, while the others live abroad. All the “grands”, along with their three grown children and two sons-in-law, are such a blessing to them. Carol enjoys reading, hiking, skiing, watching movies, and listening to podcasts (including The Money Guy Show!).
Things You Didn’t Know About Carol
- Carol is an avid sports fan, especially of the Baylor Bears (her alma mater), the Tennessee Volunteers, the Texas Rangers, the Nashville Predators, the Tennessee Titans, and the Dallas Cowboys. She loves playing in the Abound Wealth Fantasy Football League every fall.
- As soon as they moved to Knoxville, Russ and Carol got Dollywood season passes – they love to ride roller coasters.
- She enjoys cooking, baking, and entertaining others in their home.
- In addition to hiking, skiing, and snowboarding, her family loves to play board games together.
