Eric Baer, CFP®

Principal

Eric officially joined Abound Wealth in September 2020. After 20+ years with GE as an engineer, he decided to make a career change to follow his passion of helping others with their personal finances. Eric recognizes the unique and diverse relationship each of us have with money and he helps others uncover and understand their own “money story”. Eric believes his purpose on this earth is to help others live the lives they were created to live – each day he strives to achieve this purpose through his career and philanthropic endeavors.

Eric has lived in multiple states and worked in multiple countries but is proud to call Franklin, TN home. He and his wife, Jenny, have lived here since 2008 and enjoy all that Tennessee has to offer. Outside the office, Eric loves spending time with his wife and four children (and new puppy). He can be seen around town at little league baseball games, youth soccer matches, piano recitals, youth theatre productions and a multitude of church events. The Baer family attends Brentwood United Methodist Church and Eric also serves on non-profit boards with Safe Haven Family Shelter in Nashville and The Refuge Center for Counseling in Franklin.
