After college, Evan moved to Atlanta to work as a Business Analyst at Synovus Bank, where he partnered closely with the leaders of the consumer bank. It was during that time he discovered The Money Guy Show, which deepened his passion for personal finance and eventually led him to jump at the opportunity to join the team.
Growing up in South Bend, Indiana, Evan’s parents always kept him and his brother involved in the family businesses, mainly flipping houses — something that gave him an early appreciation for hard work by doing manual labor, but also the numbers side of the business by tracking the budget and potential gains. It was through this hands-on experience his passion for finance began.
Things You Didn’t Know About Evan
- Evan designed and led the largest homecoming float in Clemson University history, a build that totaled over 3,000 man-hours completed in just six days.
- Evan is a huge sports fan, especially when it comes to Clemson football. He’s held season tickets for six years and rarely misses a chance to tailgate on campus. That same passion has taken him to NASCAR races across the Southeast and all the way to Italy to watch a Formula 1 race.
- He also loves to cook, his favorite being from-scratch pizza with fresh dough and sauce.
