Matt joined the Abound Wealth family at the end of 2017 after four years on the fee-based side of the industry. He is a graduate of Virginia Tech’s financial planning program and a proud Hokie. Matt enjoys the details that go into crafting a financial plan and researching unique situations that arise during the planning process.

Outside of the office, Matt tries his best to avoid water hazards and break 100 on the golf course. He and his wife, Katie, adopted a rescue puppy and spend their weekends exploring Nashville with their best friend, Nitro.

Things You Didn’t Know About Matt

Matt grew up in Franklin and loves working in an office right off the town’s historic square.
He grew up watching every Predators and Titans game, and this is a tradition that continues to this day.
He drove a fully customized 1993 Dodge Grand Caravan until 2013. Upgrades included multi-colored LED under lights, a CB radio with a public address system, and an audio system worth far more than the vehicle.
